Ashley Lindsey grew up in Washington DC and Atlanta, Georgia, before relocating to a goat farm in Arkansas in 2008. After two years of socializing with far more goats than people, she moved again to Fayetteville, where she recently a BFA in studio art, with a concentration in painting from the University of Arkansas. Her work attempts to deal with complexities and paradoxes of societal structures and identity through abstracted visual language. Most recently, Ashley showed several paintings in a group show at the Fayetteville Underground, and she is currently in the process of relocating to Chicago.
